We decided to put our house back on the market in April of 2010. Not the best time to try and sell your home in the current climate of the housing market.EXiT Gold Realty and Petra Quinn were there with us every step of the way, advising on pricing strategy and what to expect. We established our initial asking price, and the trigger where we would be willing to lower the price and by how much. Ms. Quinn personally ran all our open houses. In late may my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Petra Quinn asked if we would like to take the house off the market until we were past dealing with the medical issues.We agreed the house would sell at the most inopportune time and taking it off was not in our plan. Ms Quinn then worked with our schedule to continue showing the house. Within a couple of weeks of my wife's surgery we had an offer, countered and accepted, well above our minimum. Although the buyer wanted a fast closing, Ms. Quinn negotiated an extra 2 weeks for us, which bought us the time to get past the surgery and pack up the house. We suddenly realized within 4 weeks we would be homeless and had to find a rental to take us through cancer treatments. Ms. Quinn, on her own, began making inquires on rentals that would keep us close to the hospital and Drs. for the period necessary for treatment. This was totally unexpected and done more as a friend than as our Realtor (R). We have dealt with Realtors (R) before, both in buying and selling homes, but can say inequitably that we have not experienced the service, kindness or ethics provided by EXiT Gold Realty and their agents like Ms. Quinn
