Meet Robert

Robert “Yates” Clagett, Jr. has been a Real Estate licensee since 2012 specializing in land and farm sales, working under his father, Robert Clagett a Real Estate Broker and Real Estate attorney in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He currently works with Prince George’s County farmers and landowners to advise them on all aspects of land management and conservation programs, including Land Preservation options available at the State and County level.  He grew up and lives today on his family farm in Brandywine where he farms and manages the family farm operations on over 500 acres. Yates is very active in the Prince George’s County and the Southern Maryland agricultural community. He is the current President of the Prince George’s County Farm Bureau and sits as Chairman of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission. He holds a B.A. in History from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. In his spare time he is the assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at the Calverton School and Volunteers as a Fire Fighter at Morningside Volunteer Fire Department, in Suitland, Maryland.
